Install and start Local Edition

Local Edition runs PM Cirrus on a Windows PC and stores its vessel and planning data locally.

1. Sign in Online and choose Download Local Edition from the Local transfer page.
2. Download and extract the supplied Windows package.
3. Start PM Cirrus Local and follow Local database setup on that PC.
4. When setup is complete, use the Online/Local login transfer workflow.
5. Import the vessel and planning files you need for offline work.

The Local database is separate from Online. Downloading the application does not copy your current vessel, voyages or cargo. Keep the exported files you need and verify the imported work before going offline.

Local startup opens its browser interface on the same PC. Use that installation's Local login page. If setup fails, retain the error message and check the database setup status before repeating the transfer.

The Local header may offer an application update when available. Preserve current work, follow the update prompts and allow the application to restart. Returning the login is a separate operation from updating the software.
